Combat Animation | Maya Animation Study

This project is a combat animation study created in Autodesk Maya, focusing on body mechanics, timing, weight distribution, anticipation, and impact.

The goal was to create a dynamic fight sequence that feels both powerful and believable while maintaining clear silhouettes and readable action throughout the animation. Special attention was given to character balance, pose transitions, spacing, and the overall flow of movement to enhance the sense of realism and energy.

Through this project, I explored the challenges of choreographing combat interactions and translating physical force into animation. Each motion was carefully refined to achieve stronger visual storytelling and more convincing character performance.
